At end-August steel inventory reached US metals service centers 8,459,100 short tons, growth of 0.5%, an increase of 13.7%.
August shipments of US service center is 3,690,500 short tons, an increase of 15.4 percent compared to an increase of 18.2%. Calculated in accordance with the number of supply days in late August steel inventory was 2.3 months supply, the end of July to 2.7 months supply. The end of August 2010 was 2.3 months supply.
2011 cumulative shipments of US service center is 27,672,700 short tons, an increase of 17.0%.
